M. KIRAKOSYAN BLACKJACKED AT THE EDITORIAL OFFICE

Manvel Kirakosyan, 42, lodged a complaint with the police about
ill-treatment at the editorial office of Hayots Ashkarh daily.

Kirakosyan said he had received a blow in the head.

According to a police release, on March 20, during an argument with
Hayots Ashkarh’s chief editor Gagik Lazarian, M. Kirakosyan knocked
Lazarian to the ground at the entrance of the editorial office.

"Vahan Lazarian, the son of G. Lazarian, witnessed the incident
on his way to the working room and blackjacked M. Kirakosyan," reads
the release.

M. Kirakosyan and G. Lazarian will undergo a forensic examination.

Investigation is in process.
