MINISTER ABBOUD MEETS WITH THE AMBASSADORS OF PHILIPPINES AND ARMENIA

Tourism Minister, Fadi Abboud, met at his Ministerial office this
morning with Philippines Ambassador to Lebanon, Gilberto Asouki, with
talks between both men reportedly touching on Tourism cooperation
between both countries, as well as on the possibility of signing a
Tourism swap agreement. They also discussed the possible activation
of the Beirut-Manila air route agreement of 1968.

Asouki also extended an invitation to Minister Abboud to visit
Philippines soon.

Separately, Abboud had an encounter with the Armenian Ambassador
to Lebanon, Ashot Koutcharian, who requested the activation of the
Tourism agreement signed between both countries since 1998.

The Armenian Ambassador also extended an invitation to Abboud to
visit Armenia.
