ARMENIAN PRESIDENT, ALEPPO GOVERNOR DISCUSS DEVELOPING COMMERCIAL & INVESTMENT RELATIONS

Aleppo, SANA- President Serzh Sargsyan of Armenia discussed Tuesday
with Governor of Aleppo Ali Ahmad Mansoura means of developing the
economic, industrial and commercial relations and increasing trade
exchange.

The Armenian President underlined the Syrian-Armenian distinguished
relation and the desire to develop it in all levels.

For his part, Mansoura briefed the Armenian President with an
explanation on Aleppo and its economic, tourism and social activities.

The representatives of the economic and commercial activities called
on Armenian businessmen to invest in Aleppo, expressing their desire to
reduce the imposed customs on Syrian goods and facilitating procedures
for Syrian businessmen to get visas to Armenia.

Afterwards, President Sargsyan visited the Armenian Consulate in
Aleppo and met with heads of Armenian denominations. He then visited
the Armenian High School and the Virgin Mary Church for the Armenian
Orthodox and participated in the prayers there.

During a dinner organized by members of the Armenian denominations
in Aleppo, the Armenian President affirmed that Syria is the meeting
point of civilizations and the cradle of religions, noting that his
visit to Syria will give new momentum to the relations between the
two countries.
