Nalbandian Participated in CIS Foreign Ministers’ Council

RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian’s visit to Moscow continued on
March 26, when the Armenian foreign minister participated in the next
session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of
Independent States (CIS).
There were more than twenty questions relating to CIS on the agenda,
among them also the implementation of the concept of CIS’ further
development, bolstering cooperation in the sphere of humanitarian aid,
cooperation in the field of security and migration policy, and
activating cooperation between law enforcement bodies within the CIS.
In the sidelines of this meeting, Nalbandian met with Konstantin
Grishenko, the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Ukraine. The two
men exchanged ideas on issues such as stimulating political dialogue,
expanding the judicial and contractual field, cooperation in
international organizations, and regional and international issues and
how they can be regulated.
