It is standard practice now – transport communication with Armenian
regions is disrupted on days of rallies.
Or minibuses are not allowed to enter Yerevan or they enter almost
empty. Since the Opposition is holding a rally in Yerevan at 6:00 p.m.,
minibuses enter Yerevan almost empty.
Talking to NEWS.am, Arman Musinyan, Spokesman for Levon Ter-Petrosyan,
Chairman of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), reported that the
ANC has received signals that minibuses from Echmiadzin, Artashat,
Abovyan, are prevented from entering the Armenian capital.
"They received an order not to transport people or not to work at all.
Even taxi services have been ordered not to transport more than one
passenger to Yerevan," he said. Moreover, traffic police prevent
vehicles from entering Yerevan, Musinyan said.
NEWS.am reminds readers that the ANC is holding a rally in Yerevan
at 6:00 p.m. today, April 6.
