The 1.96 ex-model of Armenian and Greek descent will be singing live
at the Zoo nightclub on Friday evening, as well as with Hamazkayin’s
SIPAN Dance Ensemble on Saturday at 7:30 pm. Together with Mayor of
Nicosia Eleni Mavrou, she will hold a press conference and plant an
apricot tree in the Municipal Gardens on Saturday at 11:00am.
Armenia’s representative to this year’s Eurovision song contest
arrives in Cyprus tomorrow (Thursday). She has scheduled appearances
on Friday morning TV shows with RIK (Epta-Deka between 8:00-8:30am)
and SIGMA (Kalimera between 9:00-10:00am). On Friday evening she
will also appear live at the Zoo nightclub. On Saturday at 7:30 pm,
she will also appear live at Hamazkayin Cultural and Educational
Association’s Sipan Dance Ensemble’s 10th Anniversary Performance at
Strovolos Municipal Theater. On Saturday morning at 11:00am, she will
hold a press conference at the Municipal Gardens, where together with
Mayor of Nicosia Eleni Mavrou, they will plant an apricot tree.
As a worthy Ambassador of Armenia’s Eurovision 2010 hopes, Eva is
currently touring Europe, promoting "Apricot Stone" (lyrics Karen
Kavaleryan, music Armen Martirosyan). During Easter she visited Greece
with successful appearances in Thessaloniki and Athens. Audiences in
Cyprus are anxiously waiting for her arrival.
The tour of Eva Rivas and her entourage to Cyprus has been made
