STEPANAKERT, APRIL 9, NOYAN TAPAN. On 8 April President of the Artsakh
Republic Bako Sahakyan met winner of European Wushu championship
held from 7 to 14 of March, 2010 in Antalia (Turkey), Artsakh athlete
David Grigoryan, his trainer Sayat Baghdasaryan, as well as prominent
trainers of the republic Arto Arstamyan and Ernest Mirzoyan.

The Head of the State congratulated everybody on this significant
achievement in the sphere of sports noting that the victory of our
athletes was the victory of our whole nation. Bako Sahakyan underlined
that the development of sport and physical culture is of strategic
importance for our country and the state will keep assisting the
development of this field in Artsakh.

According to central information department of the office of the
Artsakh Republic president, at the end of the meeting the President
handed in financial awards to the winner of the European Championship
David Grigoryan and his trainer as well as certificates authenticating
the title of the NKR Honored Trainer to Arto Arstamyan and Ernest
Mirzoyan.

NKR defense minister Movses Hakobyan, chairman of state sports
committee under the Cabinet of Ministers Razmik Hovsepyan and other
officials partook at the meeting.
