GOVERNMENT APPROVES TIMETABLE OF MEASURES ON SOLUTION OF PROBLEMS IN LIGHT INDUSTRY

YEREVAN, APRIL 8, NOYAN TAPAN. During the April 8 sitting, the
Armenian government approved the timetable of measures on solution
of the problems in the light industry. Minister of Economy Nerses
Yeritsian said that the timetable was made out based on the anaysys of
the current global developments and forecasts, as well as discussions
with representatives of the private sector.

According to the minister, the timetable will enable to identify
and re-evaluate the potential of the light industry in the next two
years, also to unite efforts of the private sector and to specify
the mechanisms of state assistance to develop a long-term strategy.
