PRIME MINISTERS OF ARMENIA AND NKR SATISFIED WITH COOPERATION RESULTS

ArmInfo. "I highly appreciate the work carried out by the Government
of the Nagorny Karabakh Republic over 2009. We are encouraged to
see serious progress of all indicators. There is now rather serious
potential for successful implementation of all the programs envisaged,"
said Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan at the joint session
of the NKR and Armenian Governments at the NKR Government building
on Monday.
ArmInfo correspondent Stepanakert reported that Prime Minister
Sargsyan highlighted specific results of cooperation of the two
governments. The prime minister informed the NKR Government of the
economic policy waged in Armenia in conditions of the global financial
and economic crisis. Tigran Sargsyan emphasized that Armenia has not
cut the credits to Artsakh despite the crisis. The prime minister
said the state budget of Armenia for 2010 will be fulfilled by 100%.
"Economy of Armenia is ready to settle any problem and meet any
challenge," T. Sargsyan said.
For his part, NKR Prime Minister Ara Haroutiunyan expressed
satisfaction with the results of cooperation. He said that all the
programs were fulfilled and additional financial support and human
resources were provided to the country that helped showing good
economic results.
Ara Haroutiounyan outlined serious positive shifts in the social
and economic life of the NKR. In the course of the joint session,
the governments of the NKR and Armenia discussed issues related to
the agrarian, energy and social sectors and army building.
The Armenian governmental delegation led by Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan is on the three- day working session in the NKR. The
delegation comprises ministers and governors of Armenia.
