U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE AND ARMENIAN PRESIDENT MEET

ArmInfo. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with U.S.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington.
As the Armenian presidential press service reports, the interlocutors
discussed the perspectives of Armenian-Turkish rapprochement. The U.S.
Secretary of State confirmed President Obama’s call for the
continuation of reconciliation without preconditions. S. Sargsyan
and H. Clinton also discussed issues related to Armenian-American
relations, as well as resolution of the Karabakh conflict within the
frames of the OSCE Minsk Group. During his meeting with U.S.
Congressman Adam Schiff, President Serzh Sargsyan thanked the
congressman for his efforts towards the recognition of the Armenian
Genocide by the U.S. Congress and for the support to Armenia and
Artsakh.
