Armenian Parliamentarian Awarded With Russian Federation Order Of Fr

ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN AWARDED WITH RUSSIAN FEDERATION ORDER OF FRIENDSHIP

ArmInfo. In compliance with President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev,
Chairman of the All Armenian Public Organization of War Veterans
"Combat Brotherhood", Armenian parliamentarian Armen Mkhitaryan was
awarded with the RF Order of Friendship at the Russian Embassy in
Armenia on Wednesday.

Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vycheslav Kovalenko said A. Mkhitaryan
was awarded for great contribution to development of cooperation
between organizations of veterans, active public efforts on patriotic
education of the youth and social support to war veterans and their
families. "The Order is awarded in advance of the 65th anniversary
of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War," the Ambassador said.

For his part, Armen Mhkitaryan thanked President of Russia Dmitry
Medvedev for appreciation of his activity and accepted the award as
a sigh of fraternity of the Armenian and Russian peoples.
