Chief of the Public-Politician Department of the State Administration
of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov referred to the U.S.’s position over the
issue of Karabakh: "Azerbaijan is not satisfied with the activities,
carried out by the United States within the OSCE MG," 1News.Az Agency
quoted him as saying.
"The United States often comes into one-sided position, supporting
Armenia. We call on the U.S. to take a neutral position," Ali
Hasanov said.
"Azerbaijan has repeatedly raised the issue of violation of its rights
in Nagorno Karabakh and violation of its territorial integrity.
However, some U.S. structures and powers begin openly supporting
Armenia under the influence of the Armenian lobby and lose their
neutrality," he said.
"The U.S. makes its efforts to help Armenia in the difficult economical
situation and along-side with these activities the U.S.
suppresses the neighboring states, claiming to establish economical
and political relations with Armenia," he added pointing that this
goes wrong with the mission by U.S. within the framework of chairing
in the OSCE Minsk Group.
