DAY OF THE EARTH 2010: A TREE PLANTING IN NOR NORK

"ATP" beneficiary fund (Project Tree Planting in Armenia), the NGO
"Association of young biologists" and "Orhus" Ecological informative
center of Yerevan, which is the official partner of Earth Day Network
in Armenia, organize a series of ecological events for celebrating
the 40th anniversary of the Earth Day.

Today will be organized a tree planting in the territory of Surb
Sargis church in Nor Nork. The association of the young biologists,
the scientific corporation of YSU together with the students of the
collage Kvant and a group of volunteers will plant 200 saplings. The
expert of "ATP" will read a shot lecture for all the participants,
after which the tree planting will start.

To this green initiation will join series of local and international
organizations (the OSCE Yerevan office, the British Council), embassies
and governmental and representatives of social organizations in order
to show their faithfulness towards the protection of the surrounding
nature.

The representatives of the Armenian show business and the sportsmen
have expressed their wish to join this initiation, in particular
Hrant Tokhatyan, Ara Gevorgyan, Alla Levonyan, Ruben Jaghinyan,
Nazeni Hovhannisyan and others.
