Turkey reached the level and power, where can sincerely seek
establishment of equal relations and comes to the negotiating table
with all parties, Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated at the
meeting with the MPs of ruling Justice and Development Party following
a nuclear security summit in Washington.
According to him, all leaders of 47 states saw Turkey’s straight
forwardness. "At the meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
it was noted that Turkey is sincere in its relations with Armenia
and considers necessary that Armenia behaves likewise. We stated it
is critical for the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations,
Karabakh conflict and implementation of Armenia-Turkey Protocols,"
Erdogan said.
Turkish Premier also said that expressed his concern over the
recognition of Armenian Genocide at the meeting with U.S. President
Barack Obama. "Turkey can boldly speak of the conflict, talks and
compromises both in its own and regional issues. There is no country
in the region and the world speaking simultaneously with Iraq, Syria,
Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Greece and Bosnia. It comes from the power
and sincerity of Turkey. We cannot be a side avoiding the talks,"
Erdogan declared.
