SERZH SARGSYAN AND DMITRY MEDVEDEV TO DISCUSS KARABAKH ISSUE IN MOSCOW

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and his Russian counterpart Dmitry
Medvedev will hold a meeting today in Moscow. The meeting is said be
held at a "tete-a-tete" format with the two leaders set to discuss
a series of urgent issue.
A representative of the Kremlin told the Russian language ITAR-TASS
news agency that the two presidents will touch upon regional and
international issues, as well as economic cooperation between Armenia
and Russia, particularly in the energy sector.
Sargsyan and Medvedev will also discuss issues related to the
settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
According to the Russian agency ITAR-TASS Moscow wants to assist
Yerevan and Baku over the Karabakh issue in the future too so that
the sides may reach mutually acceptable decisions and that Moscow is
ready to assist the very version of the settlement of the conflict
that would satisfy all the parties concerned. The Kremlin also said
it was ready to be the guarantor of the settlement should an agreement
based on mutual concessions be reached.
