A NEW NAME IN ARMENIAN PHOTOGRAPHY: ELBAKYAN’S PHOTOS ENCHANT RUSSIANS

My Eiffel by Anush Elbakyan, a young Armenian photographer, was
recognized the winner of the 10th stage at a competition organized
by the local Russian daily Izvestia. The competition was organized
by 10 stages with each having its separate winner.

Recently Elbakyan’s photos had success at an exhibit organized by
Elwood, NDP Group and Altro companies in Yerevan.

The 19-year-old Anush will with her 10 photos participate in an
annual exhibit to be held in Edinburgh (Great Britain). She will also
participate in a competition organized in New York by the American
GPG magazine dedicated the memory of the famous French photographer
Henri Artier-Bresson.

Currently Anush is working on a series called The World and Armenians.

A private exhibit of her is set to be organized soon in Yerevan.
