PARLIAMENT OF AZERBAIJAN INDIGNANT AT US POLICY IN KARABAKH ISSUE

ArmInfo. The recent US policy on the Karabakh conflict must be
protested, said a number of Azerbaijani parliamentarians from ruling
Party Yeni Azerbaijan on Tuesday, Trend reported.

"The current position of the USA as a co-chair-country of the OSCE MG
that undertook the mission of settling the Karabakh conflict does not
meet the nature of the USA’s relations with Azerbaijan," Ali Ahmadov,
Vice Chairman of the Party, said. He believes that the USA renders
material assistance to Armenia in prejudice of Azerbaijan.

Ahmadov said that the Parliament of Azerbaijan must take a serious
position on the given issue and openly protest the given policy of
the USA.

For his part, Executive Secretary of Yeni Azerbaijan Siyavush
Novruzov said that the bias position of some countries on the Karabakh
conflict is aimed against Azerbaijan. Some forces inside the country
support such policy those countries. "Therefore, all the processes
contradicting the interests of Azerbaijan must be severely protested,"
Novruzov said.
