Some changes have been introduced in the Euro-2010 B group playlist
following an agreement between the Armenian Football Federation and
Russian Football Union (RFU). The RFU website informs that the sides
have decided to hold the March 26, 2011 match in Armenia, while the
counter match is to be held on June 4, 2011 in Russia.
According to Armenian sports news website Armsport.am it had previously
been just the contrary, i.e. the Armenians would play at Russian’s
turf on March 26, while the Russians would play in Yerevan on June 4.
The Russian team was dissatisfied with this order of the matches
as it is very hot at this time of year in Armenia, and the Russian
players are not accustomed to play under such weather conditions.
