Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. "Remains to be seen how the new Russian
co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group will work. We are not satisfied
with the activity of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair institution for
reaching progress in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The
problem didn’t move from deadlock, there is no move.

Armenia denies a point which it coordinated in a previous meeting
and tries to return to the same issues", chief of the public policy
department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali
Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

He said it was time to show will arisen from the norms of international
law. "Azerbaijan has no authority to review the activity of the
OSCE Minsk Group and to determine its composition. This is an OSCE
institution and its composition and the number of member countries
are determined by the OSCE. If there is such dissatisfaction at the
OSCE next summit Azerbaijan can express its position there. We are
concerning about that the co-chairs couldn’t reach any progress
so far. The current question is that the European Union can be
represented in the group. There are other proposals too. The
Turkey’s representation is also on agenda. The OSCE should assess
the proposals".

Hasanov also reacted to the protest by the Armenian foreign ministry
against the Turkey’s representation in the Minsk Group. "Armenian
foreign ministry doesn’t think what it protested. This country has
no own volition. Armenian president and foreign ministers have no
their own volition. And therefore there is no serious progress in
the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict".

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
