CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS TO TAKE PART IN WORLD SUMMIT OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS IN BAKU

ArmInfo. Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II will pay a one-day
visit to Baku on April 26 to attend the Second World Summit of
Religious Leaders. The Catholicos will leave for Baku at the invitation
of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill First and Chairman of
the Caucasus Muslims Board Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pasha-zade.

The press office of Holy Echmiadzin said quadrilateral meeting of
spiritual leaders of regional countries including Patriarch of Moscow
and All Russia, Patriarch-Catholicos of All Georgia, Sheikh-ul-Islam
of Azerbaijan and the Catholicos of all Armenians will be held as
part of the summit. During his trip, Karekin II will be accompanied
by representative of St. Echmiadzin on inter-church relations,
Archbishop Yeznik Petrosyan and head of the Office of Interchurch
Relations deacon Vahram Melikyan.
