AMD 15 BILLION TRANSFERRED BY ARMENIA’S LARGE TAXPAYERS TO STATE BUDGET IN FEBRUARY

YEREVAN, April 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s large taxpayers sent AMD 15
billion to the state budget in February, Armenian State Revenue
Committee reports.

This amount is greater than that of the same month of the previous
year by AMD 3.8 billion.

The share of 344 largest taxpayers made up 50.8% of taxes collected
in February.

In this February, 11 companies – ArmRosgasprom, Armenian Nuclear
Power Plant, Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine, Orange Armenia,
Armbusinesbank, Ameriabank, VTB Bank Armenia, Yerevan Thermal Power
Plant, Geo Pro Mining Gold, EMH Contraction and Armenia-International
Airports transferred the amount greater than that of the same month
a year before by AMD 2.2 billion.

The committee says tax agencies conducted 55 inspections in February
2010.

As a result, extra AMD 226 million was recovered.
