ARMENTEL SUPPORTS ACTION IN MEMORY OF HEROES-LIBERATORS OF EASTERN ARMENIA

ArmInfo. ArmenTel CJSC (Beeline brand) announces its support to
the initiative of maple alley plantation in the area where Russian
volunteers died in battle for liberation of Eastern Armenia together
with the Armenian mass levies during the first Russo-Persian War
(1801-1813). Volunteers from Russian Culture Organization planted 114
trees as to the number of the soldiers killed. "As a Russian man and
patriot of Armenia I am proud that Beeline supported the action. I
hope these trees will symbolize the glorious past of our predecessors,
the unity and the bright future of our fraternal peoples," says Igor
Klimko, Director General of ArmenTel CJSC.
For her part, Julietta Kuzina, Head of Russian Culture Center says:
"We are grateful to ArmenTel for assistance in planting the alley. We
believe that it is a good tribute to the military honor and friendship
of the Russian and Armenian peoples." To recall, earlier on April 17
2010 ArmenTel jointly with Armenian journalists planted 107 trees in
the city park "Haghtanak" ("Victory Park") as an alley of journalists.
