MORE PASSENGERS AND FLIGHTS IN ZVARTNOTS AIRPORT

Armenian main airport Zvartnots has seen more flights and landings
during the first quarter this year (1,843) compared to the same period
in 2009 (1,608).

According to the General Department of Civil Aviation at the Government
of the Republic of Armenia 116,808 people have arrived in Armenia
during the period under discussion (111,675 during the first quarter in
2009), while the number of the passenger that left the country during
this period was 137,283 (129,651 during the first quarter in 2009).

At the same time Shirak, another Armenian airport located in Gyumry,
has seen 45 flights-landings with 1,695 incoming and 2,470 outgoing
passengers.
