PARLIAMENT OF SACRAMENTO ADOPTS ARMENIAN GENOCIDE RESOLUTIONS

California State Parliament Upper and Lower Houses have passed Armenian
Genocide recognition resolutions proclaiming April 24 as a Day of
Remembrance of the Armenian Genocide and calling on the US Congress
and President Obama to recognize the Armenian Genocide. It was also
decided to place special boards along the road from Los Angeles to
the Armenian Genocide monument of Montebello.

An exhibition of Genocide survivors’ photos has been also staged at
the Parliament until April 30.
