April 23, RA National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan
received OSCE PA Italian delegation head Riccardo Migliori.
Migliori informed that on April 24 he intends to visit Genocide
memorial complex to pay tribute to the victims, National Security
Council press service informed NEWS.am.
Baghdasaryan thanked Italian MP for respecting memory of 1.5 million
Genocide victims, noting that international recognition of Genocide
will prevent from reiteration of similar crimes in the future. The
official also presented Armenia’s stance on recent developments in
Armenia-Turkey reconciliation and Karabakh peace process. The sides
attached significance to establishment and maintenance of peace and
stability in the South Caucasus.
