Yevda Abramov The Knesset (the Israeli parliament) will never adopt a
document that harms the relations of Israel with Turkey and Azerbaijan,
said MP Yevda Abramov.

On April 28, the Knesset will discuss recognition of the so-called
"Armenian genocide".

‘I have been told that this issue has been discussed in the committees
and commissions of the Knesset for already two months and tomorrow it
will be discussed for its inclusion or noninclusion into the agenda. I
was told the issue of "Armenian genocide" will not be included into
the agenda and will not be discussed. We have many friends in the
Knesset who will not let this issue be discussed.

The matter is that the Knesset will never adopt a document damaging
Israel’s relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan’, head of the
Azerbaijani-Israeli parliamentary group of friendship Yevda Abramov
said speaking in Milli Majlis after the telephone conversation with
the Knesset leadership.

MP Agil Abbas stressed the need for the group of the
Azerbaijani-Israeli friendship of the Azerbaijani parliament to
adopt an appeal or a statement regarding discussion of the "Armenian
genocide" in Knesset and send to the Israeli parliament.

‘The discussion of the ‘Armenian genocide’ in Knesset can spoil the
good relations between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Israel’, Abbas said.

Milli Majlis speaker Oqtay Asadov voiced confidence that the issue
of the "Armenian genocide" will not be discussed in the Knesset.
