RA President Serzh Sargsyan’s decision on suspension of Protocols’
ratification did not bring about any changes in the adoption of
documents by both Parliaments, Armenian National Congress (ANC)
statement reads.

The neglect of Serzh Sargsyan’s policy was failure in separation
of Armenia-Turkey normalization process from Karabakh conflict,
entailing the world community perceived the two issues together. The
authors of the statement assure that Turkey demanded the return
of Aghdam and Fizuli regions, being under the control of Armenia,
instead of Armenia-Turkey border opening. Turkey already obtained
OSCE MG Co-Chairs’ approval on the matter, ANC member Levon Zurbayan
stated at the press conference.

According to him, RA President got consciously involved in the
anti-Armenian process to enlist international community’s support
and reinforce his illegitimate regime. The way out from the current
situation is the formation of legitimate government enjoying public
confidence, Zurabyan stressed.
