BAKO SAHAKYAN RECEIVES THE NEWLY APPOINTED RUSSIAN CO-CHAIR OF THE OSCE MINSK GROUP

YEREVAN, APRIL 29, ARMENPRESS: President of the Artsakh Republic Bako
Sahakyan received today the newly appointed Russian co-chair of the
OSCE Minsk group Igor Popov.

Central Information Department of the NKR President office told
Armenpress that the president of the country congratulated Mr. Popov
on the new appointment and wished fruitful work.

A number of issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict
settlement were discussed during the meeting. The necessity of
peaceful settlement of the conflict within the framework of the Minsk
group and participation of Artsakh in the negotiation process were
mutually noted.

Foreign minister of the Artsakh Republic Georgy Petrosyan partook at
the meeting.
