YEREVAN, APRIL 30, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
received the newly-appointed Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk
Group Igor Popov on April 28. He congratuled the diplomat on his
appointment and expressed a hope that I. Popov would make a significant
contribution to the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh problem.

NT was informed by the Armenian president’s press service that during
the meeting S. Sargsyan and I. Popov discussed the latest developments
in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
