YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS: One of the main directions of RA
Government’s economic policy of 2008-2012 is attracting foreign
investments and promoting exportation. The World Bank provided a
grant to RA Government for developing the infrastructural power of
the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) and improving the professional
skills of the ADA personnel. Within the frames of this project Ameria
CJSC will provide consultation to ADA on working out a strategy for
promoting exportation and developing entrepreneurship.
An official from Ameria CJSC told Armenpress that during the
process of working out the strategy of promoting exportation Ameria
will investigate the exporting potential of Armenia, the field of
competition, as well as suggest possible solutions to the development
of exportation under the conditions of global economic post-crisis
situation. Within a year the company will implement works by stages.
The process will involve selecting the target points of exportation
and revealing the obstacles and limits of those points.
On the basis of the international practice Ameria will initiate
projects and design tools for raising the level of readiness
and competitiveness of the enterprises, which have the potential
for exportation. The target markets will be selected and Ameria
will provide assistance to the companies, which have the necessary
potential and which will be selected beforehand, for securing their
correspondence to the demands of the target markets. Ameria will assist
as well in the process of creating database, which will involve the
basic demands of the target markets.
Special attention will be paid to the markets of the states of CIS,
Euro Union, the Middle East and Northern America. Assistance will be
provided to the selected enterprises in the process of working out a
strategy for promoting exportation and attracting markets, establishing
and developing business ties, singing agreements on exportation.
