ArmInfo. The OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs met in Vienna on May 5, 2010.

The OSCE MG Co-Chairs Bernard Fassier (France), Yuri Merzlyakov
(Russia) and Robert Bradtke (USA) informed the other members of the
Minsk Group of the efforts made towards peaceful resolution of the
Karabakh conflict. Afterwards, Igor Popov officially replaced Yuri
Merzlyakov on the position of the Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE MG.

Yuri Merzlyakov diplomat took this office in 2003. It was reported
in February 2010 that he was appointed Russian Ambassador to Estonia.

To recall, on April 22 the OSCE MG Co-Chairs met in Moscow and later
had meetings at the top level in Washington, Baku and Moscow and
discussed the recent developments. Earlier on April 21 the Russian
and the US Co-Chairs visited Baku. Igor Popov met the leadership of
Armenia and NKR on April 27 and 29, respectively.
