TIGRAN BALAYAN: POSITION OF NKR PEOPLE OF PRIMARY IMPORTANCE

"The position of the people of Nagorno Karabakh expressed at the 1991
referendum is of primary importance in the settlement of the conflict.
Armenia has always supported and will continue supporting this
position. Azerbaijan is only losing time: sooner or later it will
have to reckon with the will of the people of Nagorno Karabakh,"
Head of Media Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of Armenia Tigran Balayan said in response to recent statements of
official Baku.
According to Tigran Balayan, "not finding understanding of its
destructive position in the negotiation process, some Azerbaijani
officials think of nothing better than showing off in front of their
own people through endless chain of falsifications and sabre-rattling."
