PRIME MINISTER OF ARMENIA: EASTERN PARTNERSHIP MAY ASSIST IN OVERCOMING OF DISAGREEMENTS AND MAKE SOUTH CAUCASUS REGION MORE PREDICTABLE

ArmInfo. The Eastern Partnership may assist in overcoming of
disagreement and make the South Caucasus region more predictable,
Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sarkisyan said at May 5 European
People’s Party bureau session in Karlowi Vari held under a slogan
"Eastern Partnership. European Capital: Challenges and Prospects of
the European Capital", the governmental press service told ArmInfo.
In this context, T. Sarkisyan said there is a great difference in
the South Caucasus countries between the goals and opportunities
for their achievement. From this point of view, Armenia looks at the
Eastern Partnership as a tool for reformation of public structures. T.
Sarkisyan presented Armenia’s stances with respect to the Eastern
Partnership prospects and said the rate of reformation is permanently
accelerating in the modern world. The world is becoming better
through globalization, that results in the new forms of dialogue and
co-existence. The prime minister also emphasized that the intellect is
becoming a driving power in the modern world, and self-identification
is becoming a very important factor for small and big nations. In
this context, T. Sarkisyan especially emphasized the importance of
human rights respecting in the modern world.
