Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has not ruled out Ankara’s
involvement in the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation
in Europe) Minsk Group’s efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"If the Minsk Group continues to further operate successfully, we
will be able to consider Turkey’s participation in this negotiating
process," Erdogan said after talks with Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev in Ankara on Wednesday.

"Our task is to push Azerbaijan and Armenia towards reaching some
point which could be considered a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-
Karabakh problem," the Turkish prime minister said.

"[Turkey] will facilitate in every possible way the continuation of
the settlement process," he said.
