CRISIS DIDN’T AFFECT ACTIVITIES OF THE HAAF, SAYS VARDANIAN

The global financial crisis hasn’t affected the activities of the
Hayastan All-Armenian Foundation (HAAF) in 2009, told journalists
Friday the HAAF Executive Director Ara Vardanian.
"Crisis could affect us last year," said Ara Vardanian. He pointed
that there were raised nearly $30 million in 2008. "The number of
donators has been increasing. And even if the donations somewhat is
being reduced, then the number of the charity events grow. Due to
this balance we provide the regular influx of funds," he said.
