President Sargsyan meets US Deputy Assistant Secretary Tina Kaidanow

President Serzh Sargsyan received Tina S. Kaidanow, US Deputy
Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs.
President Sargsyan said `Armenia attaches great importance to the
deepening of the Armenian-American cooperation and is grateful to the
American Government for its support to our country and the efforts
targeted at establishing peace and stability in the region.
The interlocutors attached importance to Serzh Sargsyan’s
participation in the Global Nuclear Summit in Washington and the
bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit and emphasized the
necessity of continuing the active political dialogue.
The parties discussed the perspectives of development of
Armenian-American bilateral relations, issues related to regional
security and expressed willingness to continue the cooperation
targeted at establishment of peace in the region, promotion of
economic cooperation and implementation of reforms.
Serzh Sargsyan and Tina Kaidanow exchanged views on the negotiations
on the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, attaching
importance to the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in that
direction.
