America inhabited Turks’ rally scheduled on May 23 has been messed up
since New York Police banned the rally, CNN reported. The reason of
banning the rally is "Israel’s National Day" to be held the same day.

Turkish-American Unions Federation (TADF) organizes such rallies
in the third week of May. It was supposed the sportsmen of Turkish
National football team should also attend the rally.

It’s worth reminding that the event has a history back 29 years. In
1981 Turks resumed rallies against ASALA (Armenian Secret Army for
the Liberation of Armenia). Within a time those rallies changed their
basic notion since now they mark Turkey’s Day in USA.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
