ARMENIA’S SMBAT MARGARIAN WINS EUROPEAN WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPS

Armenia’s Smbat Margarian (in the 56 kg) has won the gold in the
U17 European Youth Weightlifting Championship, which took place in
Valencia, Spain.
A month ago Smbat Margarian took the silver, and now he has improved
his results: in the first attempt he lifted 100 kg, and then increased
the weight to 105 kg. In the ‘snatch’ he lifted 135 kg.
