"Foreign-la nguage education should be realized only in private and
high schools at the same time preserving the Armenian language,
Literature and History," says Heritage MP Anahit Bakhshyan.
"Armenian children must get education in their mother tongue,"
said Heritage MP Larisa Alaverdyan adding that she had "suffered"
a lot because of Russian in her life.
"A national issue must be settled through consensuses not to harm
the country and its people. To address the issue one needn’t turn it
into a show. I think that the Minister of Education and Science will
be prudent enough not to shift the issue to the political sphere and
will give up the decision he has taken," said ARF-Dashnaktsutyun MP
Artsvik Minasyan.
