CONFERENCE ON AYATOLLAH KHAMENEI THOUGHTS ENDS IN BEIRUT

Beirut, June 8, IRNA – An international conference on the thoughts
of the leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei
ended its work in Beirut on Tuesday.
In the final day of the conference Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General
Sheikh Naim Qassem, former member of Lebanese Parliament Emile Lahoud,
Archbishop Sarkisian of Iranian Armenians, some Muslim and Christian
scholars, also some personalities from Arab countries and Iran
including former Prime Minister of Iraq Ebrahim Jafari and Iranian
parliamentarian Gholamali Haddad Adel presented their views.
The conference began on Monday with an opening speech by Hezbollah
Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah in which he expounded on
the pivotal role of Ayatollah Khamenei during the past two decades.
Hundreds of intellectuals and Muslim clerics as well as Christian
scholars attended the event and voiced their views with regard to the
importance of a state based on human values embodied in Islamic rule
under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei.
