The proposals put on the table of the negotiations, aren’t the
documents that Armenian side has dreamed to have, but they give us
a chance to develop a more comprehensive treaty, President Serzh
Sargsyan said in Q/A PACE plenary session making remarks on the
possible outcomes of the forthcoming meeting in Kazan.
Stating that the proposals are being discussed for more than a year,
President Sargsyan described them “well developed” and noted “if a
constructive approach is performed, if Azerbaijan doesn’t appear with
new proposals” Kazan meeting will have positive outcome.
Referring to what has hampered from making an agreement over the
Basic Principles, the President said different perceptions and
interpretations.
