THE STEPS DIRECTED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF GASTRONOMIC TOURISM ARE TAKEN IN ARMENIA

(Noyan Tapan – 15.07.2011) The tendency of the rise of the demand of
gastronomic tourism is noted in the world and the small steps directed
to the development of the branch of the tourism will give results. The
member of the federation of Russian hotels and restaurants Gayane
Brekhova said about this during the joint press conference with the
president of the Armenian Cook Association Armen Mandalyan on July 15.
In addition A. Mandalyan noted that steps are taken in that direction
in Armenia.

A.Mandalyan noted that Armenian Cook Association cooperated with
International Cook Foundation and in the future a number of joint
programs would be carried out.
The establishment of a cook school in Armenia will be the first.
He also informed that Armenian Cook Association intended to announce
the book presenting dishes of Armenian regions.
