CONTEST ANNOUNCED IN ARMENIA FOR VACANCY IN PACE COMMITTEE

YEREVAN. – Head of Armenian delegation in PACE announces a contest for
the vacancy in the European committee for the Prevention of Torture
(CPT).
Validating European Convention on CPT, Armenia can propose vacancy
for the European committee for the Prevention of Torture.
According to the PACE procedure for the contests, PACE Secretary
General will choose one candidate out of three represented by Armenia.
Those who desire to participate in the contest should have higher
education desirable of a doctor, a lawyer or a psychologist. The
candidate should also know one of the official languages of PACE,
English or French.
The deadline is August 19. Results will be available by September 5.
