YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS: Nagorno Karabakh conflict cannot be
settled in a very short period of time, Leader of Ramkavar Azatakan
(Liberal-Democratic) Party Edward Antinyan said today at a meeting
with journalists, adding that one of the parties expresses readiness
to settle the conflict and the other instigates war.
He noted that today the force centers are not ready to give an urgent
solution to NK conflict, According to him, now both the short-term
and long-term wars are ruled out within the framework of the conflict
settlement. “International practice shows that short-term wars take
place when powerful force centers are tired of convincing the parties,
and they unleash a short-term war, after which peace is imposed on one
of the parties. There is no such an issue connected with NK conflict,
for the profits of big states do not coincide,” the leader of Ramkavar
Azatakan Party said.
