BUS CARRYING ARMENIAN TOURISTS FELLS INTO A GORGE IN GEORGIA

A bus carrying Armenian tourists from the Georgian resort Kazbegi
to the capital Tbilisi has turned over and fallen into a gorge,
the Georgian TV Channel Rustavi 2 reported.

According to preliminary reports, there are several injuries, including
children and elderly.

The accident took place in the vicinities of the Gudauri mountainous
resort.

Rescue teams and medical stuff are currently working at the place
of the accident, though attempts to pull out those affected from the
gorge have so far been to no avail.

According to preliminary reports, at least 12 have hade bone fractures
and should be hospitalized.

More rescue teams are rushing to the area of the incident from Kazbegi
and Tbilisi.
