As part of the measures to prevent mass disorders in Yerevan on April
24, Armenian law-enforcers have taken precautionary measures against
civic activists.
According to a press release by the civic group Pre-Parliament,
their coordinator, Zhirayr Sefilyan, and two more activists, Toros
Sefilyan and Pavel Manukyan, were taken to the police Tuesday morning.
It comes after the Investigative Committee’s press service said in
a statement earlier today that they had prevented a planned massive
turmoil in areas of April 24 public events.
