Pope Francis has  confirmed that next year he plansto visit Mexico and hopes to be able to visit Armenia, Reuters reports.

“But I am old and these trips are heavy,” he said.

The pope made the statement in an hour-long news conference aboard the plane returning him to Rome at the end of a six-day trip to Africa.
