ArmInfo.Having escaped from the Turkish prison, Turkish writer and publicist of Armenian origin Sevan Nishanyan wished freedom to 80 million Turks.

In January 2014, Nishanyan was arrested on charges of illegal  construction on the territory of his own land.  Then he was sentenced  to 11 years and 8 months in prison.  According to Turkish media, on  the morning of July 14, Nishanyan left the prison of an open type and  did not return.

After that, a message appeared on his Twitter-page: "The bird has  gone off: we wish the same to the other 80 million."

The well-known Turkish historian Taner Akcam reacted to the news with  a tweet: "Sevan Nishanyan fled with the words" the bird has stubborn  ", with the hope of a free world for all birds."

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
