“The political part of the agreement: dialogue, public administration, justice, fight against corruption, I consider to be strong”, said Chairwoman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan, at the meeting with the members of Armenian National Platform of the “Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum”, touching upon the signing of a new framework agreement between Armenia and the EU scheduled for November.
She emphasized, “Deep and comprehensive free trade is replaced by “trading issues” component. I believe we will not have surprises when signing it. As far as I am aware, certain elements of the economic component are periodically discussed with another economic and integration partner, so we won’t face surprises on November”.
According to Naira Zohrabyan, as the 2013 agreement was not signed, previous years can be considered lost years.
