Henrikh Mkhitaryan said that Zinedine Zidane had always been his idol in football, while he had not had a chance to meet him yet. The Armenian footballer informed about Manchester United’s matches with Real Madrid on July 23 in the United States, and within the frames of UEFA Super Cup in August, expressing his hope to finally meet Zidane.

Speaking about the most impressive playing field, Mkhitaryan named Dortmund’s home stadium, mentioning the unbelievable support from fans there.

Answering to the question on his “best buddy” in Manchester United, Henrikh did not name anyone. “We have a great atmosphere; we are like a family, so you do not single out anyone in your family.”

The Armenian footballer said that he would have probably become a lawyer, had he not chosen football. “The lawyers always wear good suits, that it why I guess this profession attracts me,” he joked.
